Rag Riot Vintage delivers vintage and designer clothing and accessories from the 1890s to the 1990s. All eras, all sizes, all personalities — and they needed a flexible brand identity to match. GRZYB proposed three concepts for the logo and visual identity, which reflect the diverse spirit of the company and its offering.
This brand system is anything but old-fashioned — Concept 1 is a brand identity in motion. Representing the many styles, eras, and personalities of the garments, this brand identity is designed to revolve. Perfect for 1980's graphic band tees, pretty Victorian frocks, and anything in between.
The most modern of the variations, Concept 2 has a rich, sultry punk color palette and layered mark to punctuate the brand. Here, the essence is in the crisp details, like the hairline spacing between the R's in the bold logo mark and the juxtaposition between roman and italic type, symbolizing the steadiness of the past and the movement of the present.
Concept 3 features mid-century style typography and a Picasso-esque mark that subtly references both a figure and a face. Its soft, gestural mark and neutral color palette are the perfect backdrop for dreamy vintage prairie dresses, retro-mod outerwear, and more.
